Joining us in 2017, Brian Roberts brings great insight and experience with real estate lending to our advisory board. As Director/Real Estate Loan Officer for Union Bank , he manages relationships with real estate developers, and underwrites and closes commercial real estate loans. Brian has also served as the bank’s Affordable Housing Loan Officer, working with Community Development Finance, and underwriting construction loans and tax credit equity purchases for affordable housing properties.

Brian holds a degree in Real Estate, Finance, and Law, as well as International Business from California State University Long Beach. Over his career, his volunteer commitments have included serving on the Home Committee for Community HousingWorks, speaking into matters related to rental housing development and operations, as well as serving with Local Initiatives Support Corporation, advising on matters related to the community development activities of LISC San Diego.
